The C63 AMG rides out with its new and improved sleek look thanks to HMS Tuning.
German performance specialist HMS Tuning gives the 2012 Mercedes C63 AMG a makeover with carbon fiber.  A few embellishments were added to the sedan’s exterior, which include a revamped carbon fiber front bumper and integrated with LED daytime running lights. The improved front end has new PDC sensors and headlight washers. While at the back end, there is a new diffuser and rear boot spoiler. The new exterior also gets flared wheel arches, which, like the other items, are also made from carbon fiber. And, to finish the exterior modifications—19” Jade R HMS-Edition black rims.
Before getting into the hands of HMS, the sedan started off as a 2012 Mercedes C-Class (which has already undergone a facelift which included a new front and rear design and more than 2,000 new parts) where an AMG version was later released – the 2012 Mercedes C63 AMG.
Like the C-Class, the AMG’s exterior also gets a redesign. The bumpers are spruced up, the headlights with LED lights get slimmer, and the mirrors are revised. The new grille gets one horizontal bar instead of two. An AMG logo is installed in order to differentiate the AMG from the standard C-Class. A new set of wheels and chrome elements are also installed to spice things up. Along with the other modifications, an exhaust system with four end pipes is also provided at the rear end of the vehicle.
The Mercedes C63 AMG runs on a 6.2-liter V8 engine, which pushes 457hp; with the AMG performance package, it can be increased to 487hp.
From all these, HMS Tuning have been swift to release a performance package for the Mercedes C63 AMG. The package contains a body kit, an exhaust system, a new set of wheels, brakes, suspension, and performance enhancements.
The HMS body kit includes a rear diffuser, a front bumper with LED daytime lights, rear fin, and rear fender flares. The bumper and fender flares are available in either carbon fiber or fiberglass. 19” dual-colored alloys and brake upgrades are also included in the kit.
For performance upgrades, HMS offers three choice packages. The first one upgrades the engine to 625 hp and 805Nm of torque, the second goes up to 640hp with 840Nm, and the third and last package upgrades to 690hp with 876Nm.
