Expensive Cars But Cheap On Fuel Consumption

March 27th, 2012 Uncategorized

Fuel efficiency – that is what most car buyers are on the lookout for right now. With the prices of fuel constantly on the rise, owning and maintaining a gas-guzzler is not going to be a very smart decision regardless if one has money to burn or not.  And if you are after form rather than function, you would be surprised on the number of cars available today that carries both features.
The perpetually eye-engaging modern classic Mini Cooper is the perfect example of efficiency merging with style. If you want to drive a car that has its own personality coupled with spunk, you will find that the Mini Cooper is the embodiment of both. And although the car drives like a rally competitor, you can stretch a gallon of gasoline for 37 miles using this spunky little car.
Running on a very close second is the 2012 Subaru Impreza Sport Premium Edition. On the freeway, you can drive a distance of 36 miles consuming only a gallon of gas. Complete with fog lights and gunmetal alloy wheels, the Impreza is an all-weather car, which has been known for its handiness in the snow. Imagine driving a luxury car that only burns a gallon in a 40 mile run. That is what you get when you drive the Audi A3 hatchback, one of the most fantastic cars ever manufactured.  The Audi A3 hatchback is equipped with astonishing amenities such as electronic brake stabilization system, ambient interior lighting, Quattro all-wheel drive, and speed sensitive steering.  It even has a leather interior for that classy look and halogen headlights.
Not to be outdone, the eco-friendly Mercedes Benz BlueTEC technology E350 still retains Mercedes Benz’s innate posh looks and ultra modern audio technology. With wooden veneer inlay in the interior and advanced sound science, this Mercedes model runs 32 miles to the gallon.
Korean car biggie Hyundai has come up with something that can match these cars’ fuel efficiency and beauty. The Hyundai Veloster is unique because it has only three doors, on the driver’s side and two on the passenger side. Although the car is powered by a 1.6 liter engine, you can drive up to 40 miles without needing to refuel even if you only had two gallons of gasoline inside your tank. And the car drives amazingly fast because aside from the very powerful engine, it weighs as light as the Miata.
